I have over fifteen years experience as a counselor, mediator, therapist, researcher and investigator.  So I have worn many different but complimentary hats.

One thing is for sure is I know it is best for everyone to spend less time litigating in the courts.  Do you know a litigated divorce can cost $150,000.00?  A collaborative divorce $40,000?  These are real numbers.  I know that money is, in most cases, better left in the hands of the families that earned it.  I also know our courts are over-crowded and Judges see many  cases in front of them as many as 2,000 per year.  Even the best Judge cannot always know what is in your best interest...they simply do not have the time.
